Lanzarote September 2016

A four day trip centered around a pelagic trip to Banco de la Concepción which is around 60 kms north of Lanzarote.  We had three nights on the boat so we had lots of chances to put out the chum which attracted the storm petrels. Many thanks to Marcel Gil Velasco for showing me around the mainland birds as well as pointing out the Scopoli’s Shearwaters. We also saw 2-3 Right Whales, Atlantic Spotted Dolphins and Short-beaked Common Dolphins.
